Born Edmonton, North London, 1816, died Babbacombe, 1884
The daughter of Thomas (died 1820) and Elizabeth Keyse (1783 – 1871), the spinster Emma Keyse inherited her property on her mother’s death.
She was brutally murdered on the night of 14th November 1884. Following her killing her home was set on fire in several places.
